Hks bov

Hey guys I have a Hks bov for my e92 335i 6MT. I took it off and installed it on my friend's E90 335i AUto and it does not perform the same way as it did on mine. Is it still doing the job but does not give off the blow off sound because it is auto?

Any help would be very appreciated

It's completely normal. Manual cars get much more sound than autos. There's a thread that was talking about this that I read not long ago

Oh alright. I gave some throttle while I left the hood open and there was no air being exhaled from the bov. Everything is in very tight and connected. Is that also normal?

It's normal BOVs don't like auto cars. I had a similar experience with my buddy when I put my BOV on his auto eclipse gs-t.

he might have a boost leak cause mine goes off all the time as long as i let the throttle close he might be getting some boost so he doesnt feel down on power but then when the throttle plate closes its leaving through the leak instead of the blow off valve
