You would have to open the JB4 and look at the board to see what resistor you have

the 15ohm mod is not gonna fix that sorry. all it does is give you an extra 1-2psi. but OP, give some pulls. log it and maybe send to terry

Read the codes and see what it is. It's your car not the e85.

You have to open the JB4 and then there is pictures to show the difference over on n54 tech...Look at the DIY 15ohm mod thread

Have you tried running map 1 or map 5 with just pump gas to see if you get any codes?

Also btw I think I saw your car at Sonic's last week...

I'm assuming so since I bought it after July First 2012 an terry had posted if jb4 was purchased after that day then it would be a 15 oms plus its making that kind of boost.

According to terry after July first 2012 the g4 boards are 15oms, did you have an 18oms? A lot of other had told me the same about making that much boost on my mods. I met someone at the gastation who was fbo that was heating 20psi, well that's what he said, I didn't get his name but he said he was on here and had recommended me to go fbo

Update to the OP, i also filled 50/50 e85 the other day, but from a different station this time. I am hardly reaching 15 psi, and its been two days now with several 3rd gear pulls. This is definitely different than how e85 usually reacts on map 5... my last 50/50 fillup of e85/91 was amazing, boosting to 18 psi... I suppose this conclusion backs up the statement that not all e85 is the same

Well try messing with the JB4 for a bit first before you switch to COBB...Are you all updated to the new interface and firmware? And did you choose the 335is settings not the normal 335i?

Next time you get that code try to read it and see which one it is? It could be the 29F2 code that people get sometimes when running E85...If it's that code then all you gotta do is mess with the open loop settings and it could possibly fix it...Also another thing you do while you diagnose this is to make sure your running the same E85 blend everytime...at least until you learn to tinker with the settings...

Yeah mine was the 335i with the cheap black stockies LOL!! I recently took my rims off and until I get them back on im rolling around on the OEM 189s...Ill come through this week at least for a bit...shoot me a PM with your number maybe we can try to mess with your JB4 and get it running good...
