Really angry with the cops in my town.....
Well, first off let me just say that the cops in my town like to harrass people all the time. So for the past few days the cops have been out more then usual such as a 15 mile drive to and from consisted of 5 cops with their radar guns out. Earlier tonight, i was driving on a very tight road that winds with huge oak trees at each curve and also drives through a marsh and is 1 lane each way. You probably come withing 2 feet of the car going the other way and is very tedious to drive. The speed limit is 35 MPH and it had just rained and i noticed the distinctive police interceptor crown vic headlights in my rear mirror. He sped up to my butt, and was riding so close i couldnt see his headlights. He had to be 3 feet away from my bumper at the most. This really pissed me off. I have never had a cop ride me this close. He did it for about 5 miles so i decided to turn the tables to piss him off even more. I did 20 mph the whole way through the road. He still rode my tail then finally at the end where there are 2 left turn lanes and 1 right turn lane, he floors it, cuts off a car, and slams his brakes to stop for the red light for the right turn, but doesnt come to a complete stop and as we all know that is illegal. I need advice on how to report them for this, as every cop in town does and have been pulled over before for doing 27mph in a 25mph zone.

yeah its a 328i 2009 e90. It does not have any tints on it or anything. I have yet to put any upgrades on it. Does not appear to be a speeding or illegal (drugs) type of car.

Unfortunately Johnny Law can get away with whatever they please... Cops up by me do the same thing; you can get their police cruiser ID and report them to the local police station, but I don't think they'll get anything more than a slap on the wrist..

The same EXACT thing happend to me. I just dropped off my friend at his house, but i was in my Camry, and the cop is pulling into his neigborhood and im pulling out we make eye contact, its about 1am. and he busts a U turn and starts following me for about 5 miles, he gets up on my ass and im in the passing lane so i move over, and he moves over, and he continues to follow me and the speed limit turns to 20MPH so i literally slow all the way down and change lanes once again, but he wouldnt pass me, or pull me over, fucken PIGS. pisses me the fuck off

.. why do I seem to get cold calls from someone asking if I want to donate to the 'Police Benevolent Fund' or something to that regard ... so soon after I received some ticket.
I always tell them I donated indirectly ...! |

When i first got my 335is convertible, it seemed everywhere i looked the 'po-po' were present... On three days of my first week cummuting to work, i had a police escort... First day was just as you said -right on my bumper the whole way in... getting frustrated as hell that i was maintaining the speed limit... The next day he hung back and gave me room to 'do my thing'... again i maintained the speed limit the whole way in... now... I think he's gotten used to me or has a different schedule... Still, it just seems as though i spot more flippin' po-po in my bimmer... No tix - yet... Hope to keep it that way!

That's why everyone should follow DC's lead and install speed cams. No cop is tailgating anybody, the camera doesn't assume just because you're 17 and drive a BMW that you deserve a ticket. Anyone doing 31 in a 25 gets a $75 fine, doubled in work zones.

I like cops, but sometimes it gets a bit much. My wife decided to experiment and told the county police she's been unemployed for 3 years and looking for a job (we wanted to see how they'd respond). The guy goes well you still can do $50, right? She then said well we're worried about losing our home to foreclosure and then he goes, we'll just put you down for $20. And I got a $20 bill to me, not my wife. I think even a cop would agree that's not very nice.

Cops are just people too. Usually I'm nice, but sometimes I'm a d*uche just like they can be. Only difference is they can express their "I'm feeling like an a$$hole today" to someone else. The rest of us come home and are snappy with the wife.....
Welcome to life..... |

If you didn't break the law, fight the ticket. If you did, then suck it up and pay the fine. Pretty simple actually.... It's not like we live in a world without posted speeds/potential violations, etc... |
