Are you serious? Which dealership or agent gives you this much discount?

The percentage will vary in regards to the area you are in. Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver will yield the best discounts (at most times). Whereas smaller cities like Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, etc., will yield a lower percentage. In many cases a discount is not even offered or possible.
I think anything over 4% is a good deal. |

It's a function of supply and demand. For example, if you order an E93 in the winter you probably get a better discount than in the summer, and the opposite for an Xi. As for the E90, you probably will get better discount than the E92 because the sedan has been out for a few years, while the coupe is still very new and red hot in the market.
If you want good deals, go for the ones that are not selling well, like the Z4, X3 and the 5 Series.

upon looking around and talking to several dealers in the GTA, several were not willing to deal at all on a 335 E93's at all, even when a deposit was shown to them.
the most I was able to finally find was 2k off. thoughts? on an average price of 75k or so for a 335 cab finding 4% + was not gonna happen |

Traditionally the worse months for car sale are January, February and August, and nobody will think about ordering a convertible until at least March or April. So if you order an E93 on a cold snowy day in early January for late February delivery you may get an extra % discount. (Car salesman get their commission on delivery date, not on ordering date.) Just a thought.
I waited until late April to order mine because I didn't get to see one in person until February (sorry Karch), and when the car was first introduced in March there was an initial surge in interest that lasted a few weeks before it leveled off.
