Wow, looks like a lot of fun!
When I bought my car in Dec. 07' through BMW financing I was offered a 2 nights stay at the Mariott and a one day performance class just for the purchase. This is different than a PCD. I think I spend the whole day at the track.

My track day is Oct.7 and I can't wait!!!!!!

335d isn't going on sale til Jan 2009ish. How cold it be a customer car?

Check out the huge sensor or camera in the front air dam? IR/Laser Targeting Pod?

Cool experience...

Cheers,

The people told me it was a customers car. They could have been wrong, or it could be an employees car, a test car, it could have been anything.

As stated before, the sensor in the front bumper is Active Cruise. Its radar based cruise control.

Is there a gap between the hood and the grills on the new silver E90?

Yes, there was a gap. But it looks worse due to camera angle.

Thanks for sharing!

BTW, none of those pictures are "lame."

I hope to do this and/or ED in a few years...

EDIT: LOL, on that skid pad, if you scroll just right, its almost like a flip book, very cool!

Great pictures man!
I really like the new e90 body style and I love the fact that we can order them with space grey and red, and saddle interior now.
BMW woke up with the color choices.

Its even better on my computer since I only posted half of them. Over the 8 hour day I took 245 pictures. A lot of them were motion shots too

Wow, cool pics! That looks like a great experience for picking up your new car. This really makes me regret not going with PCD when I had the chance.

You need to do it! Was so much fun. Get an X3, X5, X6 or a DD 128. Anything to go there, will be worth it.

You didn't get jipped. They are just constantly improving what they offer. When I was there back in July 07 for the two-day school, they didn't have that ice skid pad. With all these new features that I never got to experience (ice skid pad, turn off ABS from fuse box, drive M3, factory tour), I'm thinking I'm going to have to head back there for another two-day school pretty soon. And with the 20% for being a BMW CCA member, it's hard to resist two days of intense fun for $1K. Though, flying in to Greenville is super expensive since it's such a small airport. I think it's $600 round-trip from Los Angeles.

No, my day was the 12th. Would have been cool to meet another E90post member!

My trip was a special situation. I didn't take delivery of a car. It was called a 101 experience.

If you do a pcd airfare is paid by you

+1 I really wanted the space grey on an e90. Oh well.

I was never mentioned this either when I ordered my e90?
