joe perillo bmw stay away
My friend just got off the phone with me.I knew he wanted to buy an M3 for a long time. Now he has the money. Then he went to Joe perillo bmw trying to get a deal. He walked in without knowing the msrp and the invoice of the car .And when he tried to talk to a SA. the SA told him that they have one for one of their 09 e92 m3 manual with zpp and zcp but not ztp ON SALE FOR 78000. He double checked with the price. And let the SA print out a quote for the car.. 78000 without ztp(nav + EDC+comfort access).once he tried to ask for a lower price. and SA (KEN) told him" maybe this car is not really for you".wtf was that.. you charge more than 8 k over MSRP for a 09 and told the guy that the car was not for him. I tried load every option on bmwusa.com ,the car and only went up to 75000 top for a coupe. And the on sale price for a 09 for 78000 without tax is just sound like a joke to me. just stay away from this dealership. I already told him to go to westmont. just stay away from this place.. what a joke.

Yes, problems with this dealership have been long documented.

between that and the lemon law cars, they seem very questionable. $78K? damn, I'd buy a GT-R or something...

kens a dick, when first buying i contacted him via internet b/c i was overseas and he said he had the car for me. when i show to pick up, it's not even the car i wanted, 4 door as oppose to two door and a 328 as oppose to a 335 so i tell him to show me what he has in a e92 335. he keeps asking me to tell him what i want and then dudes like lets go get your car which i was going to trade in, and told me to leave. anyways, i did leeave and got a good deal at elmhurt. ken's the biggest douche.

if you are out of the warranty you better have a deep wallet. My buddy told me that they are mafia owned chain store to laundry their gang related money, so they do not even care about service and other shit.

I heard this rumor that they have some connections to the city and pay to be the sole dealership in Chicago. Any truth or further explanation to that?

You can probably try opening a BMW Store in the city. The next day after your grand opening.. We will probably find your body dump in the trash can next to your store.do not mess with cubans and italians..

Bought my car at Patrick. Luca is cool and responsive, but the deal didn't go down as well as I was told it would. Overall though, satisfied.

Big ups on patrick. Our company has leased 3 7series a 545 a 335 and where my 335 was bought. My dad and bro did the leases and I'm sure they went around to all the local dealers and did the hw. So if Patrick won out there's a reason.

I did get my birthday card from Pat Packard at Concours yesterday! Again, they treated me very right.

Quote:
I've given this asshole 3 chances to get back to me with a quote on a new 135i lease and it's been 12 days since I last heard from him saying "Sorry I didn't get back to you this weekend, I had family stuff going on. I'll get you that quote ASAP". This was after I called him out from ignoring me before hand when he told me not to lease an 09 335i they had in stock cuz there weren't any lease programs for 09 left. I said ok, then what about a '10. He said he'd let me know what I'd be looking at yet I never got an email, only one of those cheesy follow up ones asking if I was still in the market. I replied that he didn't get back to me and he INSISTED he did cuz he told me not to lease the 09. He might have been nice to you but I've NEVER had luck there. When I was looking for my 328xi I walked in, stood around for 20 min before walking up to a guy at his desk playing online poker and asked for help. He walked me around the used lot for 10 minutes (was considering used 1st then) and I didn't see what I was looking for so when I asked what he had new to lease he took my name and number and said he'd call me with a quote later that night. I told him I was in town from Madison and he said it was no worry because he would have to order the car or dealer trade anyway. Never got a call. Not a fan of that dealership at all. |

I liked the service I got there but then looked back at my bill of sale and realized they overcharged me by $800... obvious math issues. Of course there isn't anything I can do but still... lame cuz I also was told I'd be getting "a good deal" and ended up paying sticker for the car.
At least Andre has been stellar good to me in the service dept. He might have saved that entire dealerships reputation in my eyes. Too bad he's leaving now. Guess its off to Naperville or Knauz. |
