Wonder if the car is totaled

Great way to end the day! I was parked at the side of the road and never saw this car coming, wonder if my car is totaled.

Love the car, would hate to see her go

car is probably not totaled. unless there is some major structural damage , by the looks of the pictures you posted it does not look too bad.

I would think around 6000 worth of damage if it goes through insurance, privately probably half that

Wow, glad you're safe, because that Subaru took AWD to another level.

Totaled : 2 doors , rear quarter panel, bumper , wheel & tire, and most importantly , the suspension is damaged on that rear tire and it has moved forward against the frame. It must have taken the initial impact. It will never be the same .

That's what I'm worried about, and all the things you don't see.

I got pushed forward about 10 feet and bounced off the curb. Front right rim took some serious curb damage and the passenger rear took the brunt of the force against the curb

I think she'll be a write off. looking at the angle on your left rear wheel, there's a lot going on under there that you can't see.

Unbelievable! Any back-story from the driver of the Subaru? Did he sneeze or something?

I'm incredibly surprised neither of your side windows blew out...

She had just left the stop sign about 100 feet behind me! No signs of alcohol or anything. She said they had been having "steering issues". It's retarded, beyond comprehension.

Hmmm, hard to say if it's a write off. Although the pics are a bit shocking, damage doesn't look that bad. But just want to say glad you're safe. Man, that's scary!

I just got hit and the clips of my bumper broke and my fender was smashed that's it. No door no hood no other damage but clips and fender and was quoted $4500. For a new fender bumper and paint. I could easily see this at $10,000 or more.

I am gonna say 15K at least. The rear wheel is not where it should be.

totaled doesn't necessarily mean there's structural damage

totaling a car is what happens when the cost of repairs exceeds ~60-70% of the car's current value. Of course frame damage is the quickest way to get there, but a car can be totaled simply from vandalism depending on the value.
