My advice is to stop being a cheap-ass and get some real tyres.

You got em first so you'll be the guinie pig. Mines not showing up for a few weeks. So if you say they are $hit I will change my order and tell you 'told you so...'

If it performs better than V12 or RE760 Sports then it was worth it.
I dont expect it to better than PSS but I cant be buying PSS sets every season as I burn through them in one season
I do have the Falken Euro winter and they were solid over the winter with my car.
Again the EuroWinters are totally different than 453 but they were great performance winters for the price.

Some tire stores are saying that V12s sidewalls are stiffer than Michelins.

With these Hankook V12 one minute you hear a good review, another minute a bad one

What to do...

VREDS are nice tires. But the cost of VREDs in my size is the same price as PSS and PSS are better performing tires.

I have put chinese and korean tires on my Italian car and have no regrets.
It comes down to preference, budget and intended use.

Maybe thats why I cant keep up with Nick or Denzil.

Mind if I ask what kind of rubbers you ran on your car Saturn?

thats exactly what I thought when i read it... lol I don't mind spending the extra $$ if it's worth it... but save a few here and there if i can...

this thread is exactly what I've been seeing when checking reviews mixed reviews some say good some say bad...

I've always been happy with hankook so may opt out for those again. Have hankook winters and those were awesome in snow even for RWD.
or way for pHo_e92 to post his review

I dont use DOT or cross tires as I dont do to much of those events to justify. Below is the tires I have used personally.

1. Michellin Pilot Super Sports - my best summer performance to date. Seems to run down faster the the ones below.
2. Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 - 2nd best performance
3. Michelin Pilot Sport (2 sets) - good summer performance but seemed more stable than above .. maybe due to more square profile. Good life on thread. OE for my car.
4. Yokohama Avid Envigors - good all season, good in summer and good in winter. Can be used on dry winters wihout ice or snow on ground, perfect for Fall and Spring temparatures which is when i use em.
5. Nokian WRG - great all weather. Kicks in heavy rain and fantastic in light snow. Better than Envigors for winter or cold nights. Squishy in hot summers
6. Falken Eurowinter 439 - my winters

on order Falken fk453 - same thread as PS2. No experience on this yet. Tested on Porsche Cup cars which is a good thing.
Waiting for Pho to give a review.
I was going to either get Potenza RE760 Sport or Ventus V12 as both those tires are same PRICE range as Fk453. I am going to try FK453 as it is deemed as Falkens ultra high performance tire.

What to do...
First of all - find and post that review on here. That's some ridiculous shit.

Secondly, the V12's aren't BAD - they're just not VERY good. Regardless they are an amazing bang/buck tire that is still quite fast and grippy and excellent wet traction... they just FEEEL so slooooooow and spongey, thats all.

I also just noticed the Falken 453 also has $80 rebate.
So with the pricing from Allen and the rebate that makes it very very cheap. Cheapest tire set Ive bought to date.
