So last week I took my car in to have the oil filter housing gasket and the oil pan gasket replaced. It took them three days to get my car finished, because they were "busy", which was really no big deal because they had gotten me a rental car. Well today I was messing around my car and noticed an empty bolt hole that I had never noticed before! (Second pic) As I looked some more I noticed that it looked like one of the aluminum bolts that holds the oil filter housing on had the head stripped off! (First pic). Does this look right or am I just being over protective and paranoid?

Car is a 06 325i E90

Don't worry, everything is fine!
Check the other side, the bolt head is not stripped

That looks like the spot where you screw in the attachment they use to lift/support the motor, like when the front subframe is going to be dropped.

Normal.

Thanks for the reply. I was actually going to do the work myself until I looked it up here on the forum and found out that you had to drop the front subframe to change the oil pan gasket. That's when I decided to just let them fix both of the leaks.
