Lake Country Pads Question

Hi all,

I'm looking to get some polishing pads for my PC, and I looked into Lake Country pads but not sure which one to get: flat pads or the CCS pads?

Does anyone have any experience with any of the kind? Any inputs are appreciated.

David

For polishing I had much better results with the white flat pad then the black ccd pad.

Depends on what you want to do really.

I'm doing the m105/m205 with the orange pad, than white, and blue pad.

I would do m105 orange ccs, then menzerna sf4000 white flat pad

205 doesn't finish down that great on certain color BMW paint in my experience

It is really a matter of personal choice between the two. I tried them both in the past and I see very little difference as far as results. The CCS pad has little dimples which are closed cell while the rest of the pad is opened cell. This meant to minimize the product absorption rate but in my experience....it felt about the same.

Both product would suffice for any medium to light work that you might have but I would strongly recommend a fiber pad for any heavy cutting.
