I saw an LB M3 when I was in LA and it looks so mental in the metal. In a good way.

Yeah, the huge wheels that can fit with those flares will look insane. Tyres definitely won't be cheap in those sizes tho

I was going to say it still looks hideous, but thought I'd be accused of pooping in someone else's thread.

The only thing that car has going for it is the matte red paint.

The bolt on fender flares look ridiculous, and don't even line up properly with the bumper. The flared arches look try hard, and ruin the lines of the car completely.

It's like wannabe wide body gone wrong.

Then you'd have to run some kind of ridiculous spacers and offset to get the track width to line up with the fenders, and I doubt it would increase performance at all. I'd hazard a bet that it would probably upset the balance of the car more so than help it.

Some of us do have imagination, but we just don't feel the same about modifying cars.

I would say they've meant molded kit's applied with double sided tape or glue.

If you fixed it with proper fasteners and then filled/sprayed over the top it would be fine.

Am I the only one who thinks the car looks like being drunk and on Cortisone overdose?

Agree with some of your points Scotty.

This mod is obviously purely an aesthetics one, with clearly no performance gains, with the wider track of the car which may arguably give better cornering and centre of gravity.

That's the beauty of individual modification, every individual will have their own flavour to present something unique.. Will it please everyone? Obviously not.

BMW's are meant to look like whatever their owners want them to.

the oldies want them stock

the youngsters want them unique to reflect their characteristics

the douchebags just want a bmw to brag about

i can understand that some of you may not dig the look of rivert bolted fenders but this is something that i am interested in. i dont plan on selling my car and i think it would make it look rather agressive. ive spent quite a lot of money modding it so im not going to cheap out on the most important thing. the point of this post is not to have a fight about what looks good or not but i just want to share the replica lb fenders. some of you may know that ive tried contacting LB and they wanted $9000+ for that kit. when i asked them to sell me just the fenders as i dont want their hidious wings or front lip, they just told me no. I was willing to pay for it but i guess i wasnt good enough. i just find it funny that a chinese manufacturer managed to replicate the kit and selling it for about $1400. i do admit that im not sure on the quality or fitment of the product. but when i bought my m3 body kit from Jason @ eurodivison, they came looking like the ones in the photo. black plastic and unprimed, and now yo u can see the finished product from my photos. at the end of the day if youre willing to spend money, you can make anything look good. just my 2c

Most people would get this kit purely for the looks but it would definitely have some performance benefits in terms of handling provided the car isn't slammed past its supported suspension geometries in the process. Fitting massive rubber and widening the track gives some of the best handling improvements when it comes to circuit racing. With those flares and some grippy tyres, the ridiculous grip in the corners will probably rip your face off. Can probably fit like 300+ section tyres front and rear lol
