A number of us "upgraded" to BimmerPost from JDM forums.

I was on team-integra.com for a few years. In 2001, I bought one of the last new 2001 Integra GS-Rs for about $20K. As I was in the middle of my undergrad degree, this was big money for me at the time. Over the next 5 yeras, I put 120K miles on it. Aside from tires, wear items, and scheduled stuff (i.e. water pump and belts at 105K), it never let me down once. Hell, it never even used a drop of oil (it was changed every 3K w/ Mobile 1--crazy, I know!). I hit 8000RPM every single day in at least 1st and 2nd (8K in 3rd was nearly 100MPH, so that was reserved).

I ended up selling the car for $8K. Hell of a residual if you ask me!

You'll likely enjoy driving the 3-series more than the Honda. However, if you drive the way I do, you should not expect 100K miles of trouble-free, cheap driving.

Came from an integra myself. Bought it for $4200. Took me through undergrad and grad school without missing a beat. 5 years and 70k miles later, I sold it for $2100.

Then I got a job and my 328. I still feel the BMW doesnt have the soul the old integra did, but it sure is a nice car...

yeah, I'm getting mentally prepped to spend some cash on maintenance. That RSX was a gat dam rock. I knew I would hold on to it as long as humanly possible like a best-friend-dog. I love my 328, but I'm already pumped and making plans / saving up for a F30. :-)

i had my integra for 11 years and didn't have one problem with it eventhough it was parked outside and driven in new england weather. those cars are such rocks. i miss the slick transmission and clutch of the integra to this day.
