This product will be priced more than you guys expect.
It is a TOP QUALITY product, and from what I see right now, it is on the same level as the real Gruppe M product. We are hoping to see some performance increases. I will let you guys know if there are any new updates. Side note, Gruppe M replica uses VERY cheap material. They use low quality resin, causing it to crack very easily and turn yellow. Which explains why it is under $300. Last edited by Mach@M-Force_Design; 04-28-2008 at 10:57 PM.. |

500 bucks for a high quality CF intake is not expensive. 300 dollars for an intake is cheap...
the Gruppe M rep is cheap because its not of high quality... you get what you pay for--hell the front scoop has NEVER fit for any of the people whoever posted pics.... and it doesnt even go along with the contour of the engine sides. Simota is 500 bucks as well... I have yet to hear somebody complain about the weave or yellowing. IMO if its somewhere around 450-550... it would be well priced assuming the quality is as good as stated.

i am assuming you guys are doing the R&D right now, just some recommendation, make sure there is very little (or none at all) of droning at around 2-3k rpm, because that was the major downfall of the gruppe m rep, and thats why i sold it after a while...

This will be A LOT better than the Simota and Gruppe M Rep. We will try our best to ensure PERFECT fitment. The quality of this product is outstanding from what I've seen so far. We will have a lot more information coming up soon in the next month. I will keep you guys posted. |

Analogy time. Gruppe M is to Polo Ralph Lauren as M-Force design is to generic polo shirts. Sure they both look the same at first glance, but you don't get the sexy polo horse + dude on the generic one nor the same quality of fabric. The Gruppe M is probably the better intake, but it's 90% the same thing with a different badge and triple the price tag.

He said, he replaced the AFE filter with the K&N cone one and it the car felt much more responsive. AFE claims are fake. Gruppe M Rep and Simota is a lot better. |

Personally i think the scoops should be slightly larger, and maybe a sealed box.....

I think it should either be a sealed box (to force the intake to take its air in from the ducting like the stock one), or it should come with ram air scoops like the GruppeM (to force cold air into the filter's area). With the current open box design, I am afraid the filter will just be sucking in hot air from inside the engine bay. Look at the first pic and imagine the filter sucking in air for an engine at WOT and near redline. Over 90% of the air it would be getting would be from the big ass opening in the box right next to the filter.
