Toying with the idea of JB4 and DP. Kinda waiting on Stage 2 completion and wondering what to do about DP. I like the idea of a HFC, maybe the one Challenge makes, but am hesitant because i'm not sure if the power gain is worth it (they claim it outputs just about as much as the catless), how it will affect warranty, and where in the world do I go to get it installed. Don't have a good BMW tuner around here that I know of. If it were a mustang or honda it would be a different story... Oh and now I want a set of Morr wheels... |

Wow, drive much? Lol
I have a 2011 and I'm at 9700 (bought it with 7500). No problems yet. I remember one day I did hear a little metallic noise from the turbo (i assume) sitting at idle. But I haven't heard it since. |

2011 335 with 55'ishK too many problems to list, biggest was having the whole rear end replaced. last purchase for the car was the extended warranty, need to keep it for at least 3 more years then I'm going to drop it like a hot rock.

Checking back. Here's my previous post from 10/12
"2011 E92 Alpine White M Sport. Picked it up January 2011. 21,xxx miles. Tuned with JB4 Stage 1 then Stage 2 since around 3k miles. No problems. In fact, just came back from Vegas. Return mileage was 30.9 (indicated). If she keeps performing like this, I may just buy it after my lease." UPDATE: Haven't had any significant problems. I did end up purchasing the car about a month ago. CPO'd. Car currently has about 41,6xx miles (about 20k miles in the past year!). Added a BMW PE exhaust when I signed for her. Been running about 40% E85 quite a lot of the time. |
