To anyone having trouble downloading these new maps. The zip file is named 3.2 so depending on your mail client it may recognize this as a file named 3 with a .2 extension. If this is the case, right click on the fike and select "save target as". Then change the file name to 32.zip and chane the file of type from "2 file" to "all files". This will make it download it as a proper zip file. then again, maybe this only happened to me.

I downloaded it to my desktop and added a .zip to the end of the filename. Unzips fine after that. No issues here

Yep, mine does this with all Shiv's attachments. When you change the extension, it works perfectly.

I am using Gmail.

but did you test the power of WOT...same power as 1-05 maps?? I have yet to test it and haven't been able to drive it around just yet...snow and ice doesn't allow me to even take the car out!

There's no difference in power. All the drivability/fuel economy changes have been made at low load. Above 1-3psi, it's exactly the same as before. We did, however, make some changes that will allow for more boost above 5000rpm when the time/need arises. Even for Doomsday guys.

i don't believe the "carputer" is accurate any longer once you are using a piggy back since it is adding/removing fuel that the DME doesn't know about..

Tested this map this morning, driving 65mph with rpm's at around 2000. The car was showing ~40mpg while on on cruise... I'll test the 1-5 map on the way back home

At cruise, it is still perfectly accurate. But no longer on boost for the reasons you mentioned. But for comparing the previous map to this new map with the leanrun/timing changes, it's fine. Both have the same fp mapping.

i was trying to think this through in my head - if at cruise you are biasing the o2 to get the car to run leaner - you are presenting a richer condition to the dme i assume so it pulls back some fuel...i think.... i'm trying to imagine if this would affect the fuel mileage calculations? but it doesn't sound like it would..

As long as the fuel pressure is not altered, the DME reads fine. Biasing the O2 signal still leaves the amount of fuel leaving the injectors consistant to what the DME expects. The DME is controlling the pulse width and if the pressure is accurate, the calculated metered amount is correct. It is only when you adjust fuel pressure that the DME incorrectly calculates the amount of fiuel metered.
