BMW 335d New Year's Eve Deal - Good or Bad?.
I'm happy either way... Love the car... but here is what I ended up with that no other dealer seemed to match.
MSRP: 52,775 Sale Price: 43,905 (+ Satellite Radio add at no cost 350.00) Cap Reduction: 169.69 (Down Payment total 1500.00 for cap reduction, first payment, fees, etc) Price: 43,825 36 Mos 15000 Miles per year Monthly Payment 624.85 + Ca Tax = 685.77 Invoice: 48,535 4500 Eco Credit Add cost of Sat Radio 350.00 at no charge and that is 5000.00 below invoice which includes 4500 eco credit - or 500.00 below invoice before discount. |

You did just fine.
Is that a car in stock or one you ordered?

Last one on the Lot
It is the 2nd time I have bought a car on New Years Eve. Not 100% sure of the MF or Res. but I think it was Standard BMW Rate of 000255 on this car and 54% Res. I won't keep it. All other dealers in Southern California were quoting mid to high 700s on a simliarly equipped car. I only found a total of 7 335d's in the area. This was set up just how i wanted. Prem, Sport, Nav, Heated Seats, Ipod and they tossed in the Sat Radio.

Check it?
Is there anyway to check what MF & Residual are?. It's not on the contract - but payoff amount is. I seem to remember there was some sort of formula for this?

The money factor should be on the contract, and so should the residual. It's full disclosure, so all of it should be there.

Thanks
Went to McKenna BMW in Norwalk, CA. Salesperson was Gina. They made it easy. Searched for weeks. They came in at the 11th Hour and took care of me. Took finance info. on the phone as I drove there (I would never let them just deliver a new car, takes all the fun out of it). I arrived - was in finance right away. Car was detailed at the same time. They put my other car on a truck and brought it home, an hour a way. No complaints at all.

doesn't surprise me at all, I bought my 1er at McKenna and got a damn good deal too and it was pretty quick and painless. I like them, they move cars and they understand the "no bs" shopper's point of view. even for a luxury car I don't want any handholding or relationship building, just sell me the car at the best price and let me go on my way. McKenna is great for that. That said you'll get handwritten thank you notes from both your salesperson and Danny McKenna (owner- at least I think that's his name)
