I would recommend that people use a socket instead of a wrench whenever possible. You can get a lot more torque behind it. If I remember, I had to wd-40 those nuts then use a breaker bar for one side. It was a little difficult, but not too bad.

I brought in the DP's to a local shop and they would not work on it because it was illegal for street use. I even offered to trailer the car out of the shop so it was never on the "street" and they could sleep good at night.....no go...

Anyone in WI that would do install or know of Indy shop??

Oh when the saints.... oh when the saints go matching in.... call me ignorant but damn it folks in WI are quite the saints. Shit I had my down pipes installed by a Land Rover performance shop near my house and not a peep about it. The techs loved my car and did emmissions on my stock SUV, but car didn't reuire any then. Recently I was at the local emmissions station failed due to DPs, came back installed the BMX fix, went back the guy was like dayum dude what did you do? Told him whole story, he was hooked it up passed with flying colors. Yeah it all depends what state you are in. I used to live in NJ, and over there everything is for sale. You tell the operator you have this on, need to pass he simply tells you give me $60 I'll guarantee you pass. See and hear nothing go home a happy boy. They wont do that in VA, you figure out how you pass they don't care. Its all relative.

What makes it better is that we don't have emission tests anywhere around me!!
