Bimmersport Feedback?

Hey guys, I'm going into bimmersport in a couple weeks to get a couple things done;

- intake valve cleaning
- DP install

has anyone got these services done by them? i thought i was all set to go but a friend of mine said he saw some mixed reviews about this place. checked online for myself and saw what he was talking about, some people stand by them and some had really bad experiences (but for other services).

hoping to see if anyone has gotten either of these 2 things done at bimmersport and what they thought. thanks!

Note: i know alot of people will say to go to Ivo at columbus for intake cleaning but i only have the May 20th week where i can get this done and Ivo is going to be out of town that whole week.

Sorry OP, never been to Bimmersport but like you said, reviews have been mixed but then again that can be said with a lot of places, even RMP from what I've read.

I went there and did all my performance mods there intercooler, intake, oil cooler, suspension, DP's etc.... Jon is a great guy and very fair with price too. He also helped me out with diagnostics and recommendations. They are also approved to do warrantee work for Coverage One (extended), which is a plus. PM me if you need more feedback on them. All in all, my experience was great!

Yea RMP is a good place, I've got them to install my brakes, coilovers, and LSD. Only thing restricting me from them is their timings as I work downtown and dont usually finish till about 6pm. Maybe i should try to figure something out for timings and just go back there again...

I've been to Ivo and RMP (Rocco)...

I probably will be crucified to say that since everybody seems to love Ivo, but I personally did not have a good experience with Ivo. Nice guy, got the job done (it was just a coolant change), but he did point out some things on my car that needed to be done asap (one of them was to replace my shocks/struts, that was 15k ago and they are still going), where all other garages that I went after told me not to worry, including RMP. That threw me off completely.

With RMP, my only pet peeve is that they are always busy and just work weekdays :P, but service and "costumer service" wise they are awesome.

Bimmex have excellent customer service, but I've just gone there for oil changes and small crap.

I agree with this ^^^^

I been to almost every shop in Toronto area. Bimmersport I feel is not up to par technical wise. Many mistakes !!

Ivo is ok, but i think I just wait for RMP even if wait time is longer for appointment !!!

Judging by the comments left above, you seem to be very difficult person to please.
You didn't have a good experience @ Ivo's why exactly? Because he suggested you replace your struts? Did you get an explanation or understand why he suggested it? Were they leaking, sagging, car pulling to one side, broken, etc? Just because you decided not to replace them 15K Km ago doesn't mean he was wrong. You can still drive on fcked up struts, but all you're doing is avoiding the obvious.
