I cant believe that you guys turned even THIS into a 328 vs 335 thread. The 328i isn't "trying to be" or a "wannabe," it's a fucking all-around car and the 335i is the same car which happens to have a more powerful engine. Each one does what they do. They were never meant to compete with each other.

And to answer to OP...I would stay away from that deal.
If you dont mind me asking .. how much was ?

The price is $24500. Plus i think i will able to get at least $1k off.

Anyway smart decision will be move on.. I will keep looking for Black coupe, prefer 335xi on warranty..but they are too expensive.

Just love how this color looks on this beemer.

My loaded 335 was $20k out the door. No way I would pay 25 for that. To everyone bashing 328's....

Interesting color. Do your homework on it. Have the paint examined, have the engine light read and know why it was triggered, have it mechanically inspected. Maybe it turns out legit. But, of it's at a BMW dealership and they won't CPO it, you need to ask yourself why that is. What do they know about it that is keeping them from fully backing that car.

A 328 is no slouch car. I've had an '07 328 xi, '08 M3, and '12 335 xdrive. Each is very different and was/am happy with all of them. Anyone who says you shouldn't hold your head up because you have a 328 is just being an ass and you shouldn't give their opinion any merit.

Thank you for advice.
Little hard to do this because car 1000 miles from me and if car will came out as wrecked it will be waste of time and money. But if i will find couple more good deals not far from this area, i will go there.

One owner, flawless interior and exterior, every option available. All service up to date and done at one BMW dealership. Only downside was the milage... 90k

That being said I couldn't be happier with the car. I test drove a 328 when I was looking at 135's and 335's... I stepped on and I literally laughed out loud. I had to appologize to the sales rep because he informed me that he drove a 328. I was also coming from a daily driven 400hp Subaru so my opinion on speed was a little skewed.

And that why price is low.. it's not low price. with this mileage i can find price close to $16k.
I am looking for a car with below 30k miles.

on topic: cool color, but lots of questions. tons of fish in the sea, i would totally move on and find the perfect car rather than rush into this one.

oh man, not this thread again.

in before 335 is:
-less reliable
-heavier
-stops slower
-more expensive
-less efficient
-blablabla

just kidding, all of this has already been said. can we just link to the last thread that was about this and call it a day?

Is it just me or does the diffuser look kinda...strange? Like the cut outs were just sawed off. And then when looking from the rear, does the left look like its all kind of distorted compared to the right? My eyes could be going bad.

All the 335 owners are just mad they couldnt get an M3 so they bash 328 owners

In all seriousness, I would stay away from that.

Also, the previous owner did that to an automatic? Bwhahahah!!!!!!

I'd rather buy a car that is bone stock with higher milage, where the only thing wrong was the missing cover for the child seat hook-up in the back.

I bought the car AFTER it took the major hit in price due to the milage because I plan on being the second and last owner. I'd rather do this than buy something with 40k miles, drive it till it gets to 100k, then get raped when I try to resell it.

BTW the 328 I drove had <40k, was two years newer, and was in much worse shape than mine. I have a tan interior and it's flawless. You can do a lot of damage to a car in 30k miles.

hey shithead the 328 has the same motor as an e90 325 which came before the 335 existed. How can something be a wannabe if it came first. Also if you new anything you would know that a "proper 3 series" always had a NA I6 or I4. The 335 was the first 3 series to introduce forced induction. That was in 2007 so there has been 37 years of 3 series just like the 325/328/330. These were the cars that built the amazing 3 series reputation.
