Ironically, it seems the most effective HP gain that is CARB legal, is adding high octane pump gas!

Actually putting tuner BS aside for a few moments, moving the cats back in the exhaust stream is great for power. They become less of a restriction as the exhaust gas cools, with the trade off of less efficient operation when cold. Not a bad trade off. Catless downpipes with stock secondary cats FTW!
Tuner BS? Now that is funny. I dont have an "order" for catless dps. But the are being supplies to me for mapping purposes. Just because I won't keep them on my car for longer than it takes doesn't mean that neither will any of our customers. But when our produce is making as much power as it is, on pump gas with primary cats in place, I think we are making a pretty compelling argument, no?

Neither of you can. Both of you put a sock in it.

What and you call two resistors a V2 upgrade?

Anyway my point of moving exhaust restrictions further down the exhaust stream makes a lot of sense. Save your marketing psychobabble for the vendor forum.

The v2 upgrade isn't just the harness Terry. And you should know that by now. After all, who would be silly enough to sell a handful of passive electrical components with virtually no IP for that kind of mark-up... Oh wait

Guys, it's been pretty good for the past month...up till this point. So to avoid any further bans and what not, I think it's time to drop it.

Time to close this thread!

No reason to beat a dead horse, but any time you want to post certified cost cards so the world can see who is really marking up prices, just let me know.

Getting back to exhaust, so far I'm pretty impressed with primary cats deleted, secondary cats in place. Car doesn't smell at all, and sounds awesome. You get the turbo spool without all the exhaust noise.

Rather than put the smack down on each other, if all the tuners could initiate posts such as THIS imagine the reputation this board would have.

So what are your thoughts on primary vs. secondary cats? And without incorporating why we should choose duiguy.com over dui-help.com.

I don't have enough knowledge to comment on the cats.

As to duiguy.com vs. dui-help.com, depends on whether you want a particular attorney's site or a referral site. Pick whichever you choose. I have plenty of business either way.

Leave both cats in place and save the stripped squirrel.

Seriously though, if a smog test resulted in a pass with the primaries gone and the secondary’s in place, I would have a better feelling about running them. I am fiscally conservative and socially moderate, making me far from a tree hugger. But a little social responsibility should be accounted for.
