Rft options

Would like to beef up my rear tires to 265/35/18 and would like to stick with RFTs. What are my options? Front set up to 235/40/18 would be nice, but not required..

Thanks

Guys, I have a pretty good reason to stick with rfts, so please I am not looking to hear everyone's opinion on how much they hate rfts..

Thanks for understanding!

While my personal choice would be to stick with the stock size, I notice that a number of RFTs are available in the 255/40R18 size. Wouldn't this be another route to the +1 rear sizing you want?

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSe...40&diameter=18

For some reason, the 265 width seems to be an issue as my Boxster takes 265/45/18 rears and there are only 2 or 3 summer tires available - and RFT isn't a criterion!

Stock size is 255/35/18, and after Cobb install, it is hard to keep tires from spinning in 1st gear.. Looking to have more rubber on the road.

Sorry about that. I suggested 255/40R18 thinking it was wider than the 255/35/18, but I had it bass-ackwards as it is the 255/30/18 which would increase the tread width. And that size doesn't seem to be available, even in a go-flat.

From my experience, they are only offered in a few sizes. I have yet to find a 235/265 RFT combo that is readily available.
