Road rash protection

My 0ld 330i had 132k miles when I sold it.. The car was in great shape, however the front bumper looked like it had pretty bad case of chicken pox. My commute is on some sh1tty roads, with lots of construction vehicles spraying shit like its Christmas. To make things worse, both of my old and new cars are black, every ding stands out. I have already waxed the front bumper and hood twice in a month. So would like to see what you do to protect dark colored cars? Does waxing help?

I don't want to use clear bras, I have heard that it looks crappy after 1 year. Removing leaves glue residue, and removing that damages clear coat.

Sorry but a clear bra is your only solution, Either that or respray every two years.
Modern quality clear bras do not yellow, need polished and care but can be pretty close to invisible.
Waxing and sealing will not help on road debris very much at all. My JB car was riddled as well and it was polished and sealed every 5 mnths and topped with wax every 6 to 8 weeks and it looked like a teenager with a bad acne case at 170K.

^What he said.

By the time I sold my e46 330i, the entire front end looked like it had been sandblasted. Opted for a clear bra when I picked up my 328i. It's been almost 5 years with zero yellowing whatsoever. However, it does swirl just like the car's clear coat, so no automatic car washes. I will 100% be putting one on my next car.

Autobahnd Roadblock.

Here's a pic I snapped a few months ago. If you look closely, you can see the film BUT definitely no yellowing...
