M3 conversion was pretty straight forward. Just remove stock parts, replace with OEM parts. They only tricky part was making sure you had all the correct parts and some wiring that needed to be done to my car to accept the E92 headlights.

You wouldn't happen to be interested in an OEM F12 650i M-sport front conversion would you?

They pretty much line up. The only surprise was having to change the windshield washer reservoir @ right side. M3 side marker gets in the way.

Thanks. But no. Only reason to go back to stock LCI is in prep the eventually getting rid of E90. Going to another novelty conversion does not help me, I might as well let it go with M3 conversion on it.

okay, how about this? I'm in Sacramento and I have a 2007 BSM E90. I have the money and the time in July to come down to SoCal. I just bought the car in January and joined the forum because I wanted to do an LCI M Tech conversion, but this would be just a little bit better. I'm actually in shock right now. I can't believe somebody hasn't jumped on this. I realize you would prefer LCI, but we could also swap the trunk lid and tail lights (more $ of course). Wouldn't it be easier if we just trade cars?

magmd - i'm in the southbay. I want to assume this is still available and you are still intent on finding a BSM LCI to swap with. can you update us on your status with the proposed swap?

Still available if anyone is serious enough to pursue.

Ok. I am open to work with any color LCI owner. There is a cost of having to repaint...so it will add to cost of the swap. But still significantly cheaper than doing it from scratch.
