Ordering 2009 335 Coupe QUESTION

I know we've all seen what has been posted here on the forums regarding MSRP on the 2009 335 Coupes and pricing information on some of the options and packages.

BUT...

No dealer that I have spoken to in Nor*Cal has any hard information as to what the actual prices and options are.

So...

For those of you who have ordered a 2009 car, what were the pricings based on in order to generate a sale price on the vehicle? And.. if the prices should change from what you orginally agreed upon, does that change things at time of deliver??

I'm new at this.. so just wondering. Thanks!

Which dealers have you spoken to and when? I am buying my car through BMW of Fremont and they have the prices, both MSRP and invoice, as of last Wednesday. I know this because my CA sent me an e-mail with the options and prices pasted in straight from the dealerspeed.net website (the website dealers use to place orders and check production status).

So to answer you last question, the prices used on my order are identical to the prices found on the docs you mentioned. Use those prices as a guideline for placing your order (don't forget about the training fee and the delivery charge - those are non-negotiable).

I recommend that you price out your car using the invoice pricing and then negotiate for a price above invoice. Most people are getting anywhere from $500 to $1,000 above invoice. If you're being asked to pay MSRP, run, don't walk, away. I have had a real good experience with my CA. If you want, you can PM me and I'll shoot you her info.

Good luck!

From the time you order to the time it arrives, anywhere from 8-12 weeks.
