Comfort Access
Any of you notice your comfort access acting wonking with the fob in the pocket? I noticed with my Keys in my pocket through thin material it was starting to not work and I get the error symbol on the dash. So I replaced the battery same
Issue. My next guess was my wallet with supposedly has RFID blocking within a 2 ft radius it works intermittently? Anyone have the same issue?

Since I first bought my car new, I haven't had any strange issues with the key fob and comfort access giving error messages. Thought there was a problem one time, but it was the batteries that need to be replaced.

I have this issue whenever I park near this building with a radio station inside. They have powerful antennas on the roof and it causes comfort access to go crazy every time.

Car battery is brand new. Since my last post I’ve done some testing though. No
Matter what the car will unlock when I pull the handle however when I get in I’ll get the fob not detected signal but the car still starts! So tomorrow I’m going to put a fresh battery out of the same pack in fob 2 and see what the results are.

There is an interior antenna. You might want to search the forums to find the location, I'd check the comfort access retrofit threads, then you can see if the interior antenna is damaged or something.

I usually keep mine in my backpack pocket that sits on the pass seat to and from work and never an issue. Every once in a while if I have it sitting in the drivers door pull it will pop up with the key light on the dash though.
