Who has a V-1 Concealed Display installed.

Who if anyone has a V-1 Concealed Display installed and if so can you post a picture, im looking for some ideas for mine.

I'm thinking of having a custom install done in the ashtray. Pop open that little cover and the display would be angled towards the driver.

Figure I can just throw my change in the center counsel.

I can post pictures after work, but I have mine mounted under the lip that's just above the ashtray, and just off to the drivers side so it still opens. I'm still looking for a better option but that's the best I've come up with so far.

The picture isn't my car but I thought it'd be easier to just show you where I put it.

Yeh My friend put his in his ashtray of his M-3, Im just wondering if there is any better option. I really didnt care for how it looked.

Man, too bad the steathone isn't being made anymore.

I've also seen the display mounted inside the rearview mirror but with the compass built in I don't think there's room anymore.

Only way to do it is thought the rear view mirror. It looks so sleak and you you can't tell its there. I will try and find some pictures.

Sorry for the delay, forgot to get the pictures. The cord doesn't usually stick out and it looks like the ashtray lid hits it but it really doesn't. It's just very close.

I agree but if you have the mirror with the compass and home-link I dont think it will fit inside the mirror.

I'd like to do a more thorough install but I'm not really sure how much effort I want to put into it. The method and location I chose turned out to be really simple so it didn't take much time. The only thing I was really thinking about was a cord that didn't stick out as much from the remote display box.

The first link is the way I did it but im probibly going to rewire it to the fuse box when I install my concealment display.
