OEM LCI Tail Light conversion

Hi,
Apart from getting an adaptor, what else do I need to do to retrofit an OEM LCI tail light on a Pre LCI car?
I assume coding is needed but may I ask if anyone has a corresponding coding procedure for this retrofit please?
Thanks.

Can you explain why change the FDL rather than the VO/ZCS with the service code?

Changing the VO doesnt work unless you also change the production date. Also VO codes for LED lights don't exist for FRM1

Pre 03/2007 FRMFA don't have the service code but post 03/2007 NFRM it is available so no production change is needed.

Have you actually tried this?

NFRM the production date has to be much later, if you look in NCSdummy the LED light VO code only applies to later production dates. For example if you add the VO code on an e92 2008 (FRM2) model nothing happens

FRM2 and FRM3 have different strings. What string are you applying?
