Thanks for the great review! I'm happy to see you're enjoying your new OSS Designs angel eye setup
Be sure to break in those new Philips D1S bulbs as well when you have the time |

ibeclueless, thank you for the kind words!

Import36, it really is worth it. The way it transforms the car is really impressive. The AEs are the first thing the eyes go to when done right. |

Mike, thank you for making my experience so good. I am in the process of running the Philips D1S bulbs. So far they look great. I expected the output to be less, but surprisingly they are near stock from what I can tell.

I just want to make sure I allow a few hours of break-in before the writeup. The Philips D1S 8500K seem to be settling into an icy blue color, but I just want to make sure the color has settled before writing the review. I hope to have it up in a week or two.

God damn!!!!! your lights look soooo good from the top section sealed up!!!
Wish mine was sealed up that nicely. Sadly they look like a 5 yr old slapped the silcone/epoxy stuff on it. I've just been too damn lazy to do a review. I always thought that's how they were sealed up..cause NOONE ever takes pics of the lights from the top looking down, hence I never bothered. That was my only gripe for the cost of these lights. Like always great writeup man..and sorry to go ot if at all. Last edited by nood1es; 04-18-2010 at 12:37 AM.. |

Great review! This has renewed my interest in these even though it's not available for my 1 series headlights.
Although I have both the LUX and the HID kit, I'd rather have this for sure. And that blackout looks amazing! I would have never expected it look anything like that. It's especially phenomenal against your car color...is it sparkling graphite? Btw, what is the color temp of the LEDs? How about for the 1 series? I know a lot of 1addicts will jump on this almost for the amber delete option alone. Please make it available for us! |

I think the LEDs are 8500k, but I am not 100% positive. Maybe Mike or OSS will chime in. |

Great write-up! Very thorough...and better grammar than i'm used to seeing on forums.
I am unable to see many of the pictures you posted...no one else has mentioned that...is it just me? Have you posted the headlight removal DIY yet? Aside from the high price the headlight removal is my main concern. Seems a lot of room for damaging the headlight...improper removal, damage during shipping. |

Thanks for the compliment on the review! This review should cover the removal process and give you a little more confidence. Honestly, it is a very easy process and OSS Designs / Mike@F1Autohous took care of the items beautifully. The results speak for themselves too. |

I love them. I will be writing the Phillips 8500k D1S review this week. The output really hasn't suffered dispite the higher kelvin temp. They are a little past icy blue at turn on, but heat to a bluish color with a slight purple hue. They match the OSS Designs LED Angel Eyes very well. I plan to take pictures head on, but most importantly on the ground and against a wall to depict color well. Any other requests?
