SES light came on after very high Rev of engine

i was on highway 126 by Valencia. stopped at light over I-5 i didnt realized i had my car in manual mode. i rarely do and i was on phone(bluetooth). so when i took off fast and i dont know for long or even how high rpm got. but the engine light came on. i quickly put in auto. and slowed down i paid attention to temp and see if trans shifted fine. which it didnot get hot and shifted fine. once i got to next light thats when car shaked a lot in idle. i drove on and again while driving all was fine. Until i got to Fillmore i pulled over since while at stop light shaking seemed worse. I happen to have scanner in trunk and pull PO350 i think anyways 'Cyl 5 msifire.' i cleared and banged my head to the concrete. not really but i was like i ruined engine. after 5-10mins of engine being off i turned it on car to see if still shaking. but nothing. everything was back to normal.
so finally a question
1. think i did mess up something?
2. oil must of gotten hot would you replace. last oil change was 2 months ago. about 2K miles

thanks for reading.
