My wife was driving home from work...she seems fine so far. Young girl went through a red light and bounced off two cars before hitting ours. So far damage is at $22,000 (and climbing).

That really bites. I can relate - I picked up my SE as a replacement for my previous 335i which was written off in January.

But as other posters have noted, it's just a car and can be replaced. The most important thing is that nobody was hurt.

Keep us posted on how things go.

That is terrible...glad to hear everyone is ok! I had 5k in damages in April from a rear end from a 17 year old! If they fix it, hopefully it will be ass good as new!

Hey guys, I just joined the forums.

I'm currently trying to decide whether to accept this deal from a dealership in Langley BC:

Ruby Black 335i SE
$53,995 + gst (I'm a resident of Alberta) financed at 3.9%
200 km

I think this is a great deal. What do you guys think?

Hoping to be a proud new Ruby Black 335i owner soon!

If you are buying
In Langley then don't forget to add HST not GST. I dont think Alberta residents get a break on Provincial taxes, that would be too easy...but check with the govt websites and CRA.

Also what options?
And...is the 54k including Freight/PDI and whatever bogus fees dealerships sometimes add on?

I checked with Langley and they told me that as long as I hold a valid Alberta drivers license I pay gst only. It has the executive package, Nav, and all the goodies that come with the special edition. Is there anything else I should be checking for?

And that price includes freight and pdi, only interest from financing and gst on top of that.

So far as I know the exec package and steptronic are the only two available options on the SE.

$54K looks like a good deal to me. I paid that for my previous '11 335xi factory ordered, and it did not have the iDrive, 19"s, PPK, PE, individual paint, etc.

Considering it's 2012 MY heavy now, sounds like a fair deal to me.

I'd double check the GST bit though. What the dealer could be doing is eating the cost of the HST and simply charging GST. Need to get rid of 2011 MY's as Dealers get desperate.

Goodluck!

Car is definitely tighter all around and the ride is firm. I have 10mm spacer in the rear and 15mm spacers in the front. There is slight rubbing on the fender liner (not fender) in the rear if I have a lot of weight in the back or if I hit a big bump. However, this is because of my ride height.

Haha thanks bobby. Post in the photo thread and maybe it will be COTM haha. The car actually sits level front and back with no rake. Just the angles or ground level in pics that can sometimes play tricks.

I know!...unfortunately its law in Ontario to have a front plate and I really don't want to be hassled and stopped all the time by cops. So front plate has to stay

For KW V1 you should be looking around $1500-1600 give or take a bit either way depending on what kind of deal you can swing (group buy etc). If you want more adjustability go V3 which is in the $2300-2400 range. There are some other options but these are the most common for XI cars.

WAY TO GO. I didn't have the balls to put new suspension on.......(yet) where did you get it?
