Anyone want to lend a hand ?

Jokes aside

Car has gone into mechanics today to get the DP,s Konis and M3 rubber installed, then I'll fit cooler, pods, CP and pcv valve next week.

Pretty excited to see how she rolls after the goodies kit

Haven't used map 2 on the JB4 as yet, time to give it a whack

Probably time for a walnut blast with 65 K,s on the clock, anyone recommend someone ?

While I'm at it, can anyone recommend a good wheel aligner in the eastern suburbs Melb ?

Thanks
Dyll

Totti84 are you saying that just for performance or and I shouldn't use the new maps because it could lead to problems or damage ?

Purely for maintenance! It's a bonus if you may recoup 10-20kw in lost power.

Map 5 is not ideal/safe without a backend flash, meth or E85

Need a specialist to do the wheel alignment on our cars, don't take to just anyone. In the Eastern burbs of Melb I recommended Traction Tyres @ Rowville

Also to edit the thread title, select post 1, select "edit", select "go advanced". You should now be able to change the title

Shameless plug for myself, but I am in Melb and have almost finished building up my N54 blasting tool:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1161290

Will be making it available to forum members when done, only waiting on a long nozzle to finish it off.

Cheers ink

The rubber tightens up the arse end and makes it a lot more predictable, apparently good combo with the koni,s

Do you need to cut out the old subframe mounts and press in the new ones?

Had to do that on my old Skyline and was a big job...

Yes, you need a special tool to press them out. Its not too bad but can be frustrating. I made the special tool from stuff I bought from Bunnings to press them out in this thread:

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1158856

Your install is a little different though, for M3 bushings you need a lot more clearance as they are pressed in from the top. This also means removing the brake lines and rebleeding afterwards.

Really? You're not going to get anywhere near that power gain by cleaning valves. I've been running map 5 for a year with nothing but pump 98 for the last year without a single CEL. Active Autowerke have never mentioned the need for any of that stuff either.
