Help required, require shop to fit M3 rear subframe bushes to E90 in Melb urgent Thnx

As the title suggests urgently require suspension shop or similar in Melb. to remove the existing rear subframe bushes and install the new M3 type. The car is currently on the hoist at the mechanics with the subframe dropped.

Plan to run the subframe down to a recommended installer and have them fitted.

In desperation I have tried Southern BM who want around 500. (seems a little rough)

Big Thanks in advance

Dyll

I always use BM Autowerks in oakleigh speak to John and tell him Georgio said to give him a call. His prices are normally very reasonable.

So your mechanic started the job without the correct tools?

You can make your own special tool with stuff from Bunnings, it will be capable of removing and pressing the bushes in. Costs less than $25

You need:

100mm thick wall PVC pipe
80mm thick wall PVC pipe
M12 threaded rod
M12 nuts
M12 washers
Dumbell plate

Here are some pictures of my tool:

You could borrow it off me but I'm at work and you can buy the parts from bunnings much quicker.

Apparently you have to chamfer the top side and guide them in easily so not to damage. I think my mechanic got nervous, although he said he could do this easily hehe

Really, I have never heard of that on any of the install instructions i've read, even on the official BMW service manual.

This guy just uses a hose clamp and silicone lube to get them in:
