Exhaust conversion
Hi everyone I just got word from my brother that he is buying an 07 335 with borla exhaust. The guy he is purchasing the car from is also giving him the oem exhaust and my brother said I could have it for my 328. Here's my question. Will it fit? And what kind of modifications will I need to do if it will fit?

it will fit, you need the to get the 335 trunk cargo tray and relocate a few things.

People who aren't answering the op's question are ignorant, op asked if it can fit with modifications.
The answer is yes it can, anything is possible when you have money. |

+1 but with all the cutting/welding etc that needs to be done you might as well pick up a used stock exhaust for around $300.

I can't find it right now, but there was a guy who had a Jet black 330i and put the stock 335 exhaust on his car.
It was a clean job, but he had to cut out the carbon canister (and some other things) under the car. To be honest, its a hassle. I have a dual conversion and I picked up a magnaflow 12138 for like $120 or $140 and had the pipes rerouted for $150. Sounds great, looks great, cost was great. Maybe this would be easier for you. |
