Finally got 199's mounted- Pics posted
I'm finally getting my 199's put on tomorrow. I couldn't take another day of seeing them sitting in boxes in my living room. The F1's arrived at the Tire Rack installer yesterday and by 10:30 tomorrow morning I'll be seeing how they ride.
It's supposed to be sunny all day tomorrow so I should be able to get some good pics after I clean the car up. Check back about 2-3pm CST for photos. Last edited by Carnage; 02-25-2006 at 05:02 PM.. |

Those look Awesome. Good work!
I like your wider 265's in rear better than my standard 255's. Now your car looks tough as nails. |

Congratulations. Your wheels look great! Wheels without a lip seem to look so much bigger.
All of these 19 inch wheel options are so tempting. But there is no way I can drive through NYC on such low profile tires. I need to move!!!

There's a set for sale on Ebay now for $1995, it's not the same dealer I got mine from but their feedback is perfect...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-G...76539119QQrdZ1 www.bmwwheels.com used to sell them for $1,800 but they don't have any listed on their site right now. |

The F1's ride awesome, I can't even tell I've got 19" wheels and those low-profile tires, the ride is that good. The car is also tighter now from a steering aspect. I can't wait to get through the 1st 500 mile break-in and really test them out. Great choice, you'll love them. |
