Finally got 199's mounted- Pics posted

I'm finally getting my 199's put on tomorrow. I couldn't take another day of seeing them sitting in boxes in my living room. The F1's arrived at the Tire Rack installer yesterday and by 10:30 tomorrow morning I'll be seeing how they ride.

It's supposed to be sunny all day tomorrow so I should be able to get some good pics after I clean the car up. Check back about 2-3pm CST for photos.

some more.... the last 2 are the front and back wheels so you can see the gap. I don't have the sport suspension.

Those look Awesome. Good work!

I like your wider 265's in rear better than my standard 255's. Now your car looks tough as nails.

Thanks. It's nice to finally get them on. I love the F1's, they ride great and look awesome. Here's some night time pics I took about an hour ago.

Congratulations. Your wheels look great! Wheels without a lip seem to look so much bigger.

All of these 19 inch wheel options are so tempting. But there is no way I can drive through NYC on such low profile tires. I need to move!!!

Awesome rims...how much did you end up paying for the whole set? The dealership here was around $5000

About 1/2 of that. I got the rims off of EBay from a BMW dealer out of Ohio for $1700 and the F1's from Tire Rack for about $900. Worth every penny.

There's a set for sale on Ebay now for $1995, it's not the same dealer I got mine from but their feedback is perfect...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-G...76539119QQrdZ1

www.bmwwheels.com used to sell them for $1,800 but they don't have any listed on their site right now.

Thanks! Difference is like night and day. This is the 3rd set of tires on the car and best by far. I replaced the run-flats w/ Dunlop M3's during the winter and those rode better than the run flats. That's sad when my sports sedan rides better on winter tires than the stock "high performance" tires that it came with from the factory.

The F1's ride awesome, I can't even tell I've got 19" wheels and those low-profile tires, the ride is that good. The car is also tighter now from a steering aspect. I can't wait to get through the 1st 500 mile break-in and really test them out. Great choice, you'll love them.

Wow really nice looking!

So are the pics below of the car before you lowered it with Vogtlands?

How do you like the ride after you lowered?

Yes, those are the pre-lowered pics.
