Should I buy these?

Someone has a set with 205/55-16 Dunlop Winter Sport M3 tires with 2000 miles on them.

They are AT Italia Type 5

He says he paid $1200 and is asking for $600.

It's a good deal. I suffered this winter with 16" Blizzacks that do great in the snow and horrible on dry roads. And these were on my cop car black steel rims.

It's a good deal, but I just spent a bunch of money on a helmet, dig cam, driving school, and maintenance on our e46!!!

And it's SPRING!!!

What to do?

I just talked to the seller. He says he'll do $500.

Also, while they have these on the tirerack website they don't pop up to see what they'd look like on my car. I better call them to make sure they fit.

it's probably a good time of year to save $$$ on the set, if you have room to store them

Yeah they fit, they are just out of them right now.

New, they'd be $1112 to my door.
