Battery registration help
My car battery just pooped out on me in front of pepboys today. So I had them replace the battery and everything seems fine now. I know I need to get this thing reprogrammed or registered now, do any of you know of a Indy shop that can register this thing for me? And how much? I'm also willing to pay someone if they have a BT tool and can register that way..... Btw if I purchased my own BT scanner can it register any type of battery?

Did Pep Boys replace it with one that had the exact same specs as the original? If so, then yes, a BT cable will let you reset the battery adaptation. Otherwise, you'll need to have the car coded with the specs of the new battery.

I replaced my battery with pretty much the same thing. Went to my Indy and he couldn't find anything o set. He tried two different tools, too. I'm not going to the dealer for this
