Banchwerks in Providence

Living in Newport there really doesn't seem to be any local performance shops.

Yeah....I could always head towards Boston and make a day of it but, it sure would be nice to have something in my back yard that I could visit regularly for different projects.

My brother owns an S4 and was telling me about a post on Audizine talking about a local shop in Providence called Banchwerks who specialize in German cars. Was wondering if anyone here has heard of these guys or have gotten some work done by them? Curious if anyone has any opinions or know of other local shops in RI.

I have been getting work done by these guys for years (since before they opened Banchwerks)... I will admit that I am bias because I'm friends with all of them, but the do GREAT work.

They did all the work on my stage 3 A4 (prior car) and have since done all the work on my e92.

They are an honest shop that charges time on the car (not book time). They do great work whether its an engine swap or some simple maintenance.

I'll be there on Monday with my e92 getting my vanos cleaned and an oil change.

Thanks for the info. I'm happy to hear there's a quality shop in the area.
