2008 e90 335xi staggered to square
My 2008 e90 335xi came staggered with 18x8 et34 / 18x8.5 et37, style 162 wheels and i run 225/40zr18 & 255/35zr18. I currently have Bridgestone Driveguards that have got to go. And my right front wheel is obviously bent from a pothole. I suspect the rear has some bend to it also, but it's not as obvious as the front. So I have decisions to make and need a little advice.
Thinking about going square. would like to run 255/35 front and rear on 18x8.5. If I use the stock 162 style wheels with et37, it says i'll be reducing my strut clearance by 9mm. That's less that half an inch. Any idea if it's gonna rub? |

also...
also, i was reading that the 162 style wheels weigh about 32 lb, versus 25 or 26lb for non-OEM wheels. is 28lb of rolling weight enough to seriously consider scrapping the 162s all together and going with a different wheel.
