Yes, it was his mistake. I have not taught him RD so far....He has seen sooooo many ACS in the streets and that's why

Kelvin, my wife was very impressed your 5 yr old son's ability to identify brand rims

. I would guess this is because he has actually joined the meet in person to see the real things. He must know more rims than most people in this forum.

So, I guess I have to teach my son more. He seems to be a car fanatic because he really likes car toys and sometimes he will even simulate the engine noise when he is playing. But of course he still hasn't got the correct tone.

Sunny, tks!! I think I can only MD twice per mon as you.....it's tough to me to do this on a weekly basis.

Bi-weekly is fine and good to health also:rocks: :rocks:

The tyre runs smoother as of now....300km on PS2already

Grip much better than CSC2, less bumpy and only worry of getting it damaged easily during parking along the road

needs to be more careful.

Yes, I might have jeopardized my kid too much on car stuff

by the time, he gets the right tone of engine, he turns into a youngster - about 12-13 years old i guess.

Like the famous bank ads says, you'll need 4million to raise a kid. that means, he will have spent 2million

For sure the BMW in-line 6 engine tone is very difficult to master

I think now he is on Diesel Taxi level

2M will be spent!

got this from somewhere about BMW generation naming.

They're development numbers. So the E90 is the 90th chassis they developed since they started using the E designations. Some of the "developments" never see production, so that's why there are some gaps. Being that BMW develops certain cars in parallel, you'll see big jumps between generations of a certain series too. You can see they came out with a lot of new models between the E46 and E90 (E52 Z8, E53 X5, E60 5, E63/E64 6, E85 Z4, etc, etc). So each of those series probably has at least 1 or 2 potential designs that never saw production.

The year of introduction doesn't necessarily coincide with the E number. The new X5 is an E70. Then there's the E83 X3, E85 Z4, E86 Z4 coupe, E63/E64 6-series and the E65/E66 7-series. They've expanded their model lineup considerably in the past few years. Imagine that each of those had a few development prototypes and you'll easily fill the gap. Each wheelbase and body style variant now has an E number also. For example, the E91 is a 3-series wagon and the E92 (perhaps you've heard of it) is the coupe.

'E' is short for 'Entwicklung' which in German means something like development. the numbers that we hear about are only the ones that make it to production. So between the E60 and E90 there were about 30 other models with different chassis designations.
Only lately BMW has started differentiating between the Coupe and Sedan versions of their cars with the chassis code. The E90 is the new 3er sedan, while the E92 is the Coupe and the E93 will be the Cabrio.

I heard that it is available at Mongkok shops, but I never saw it when I tried to find it decades ago. I just gave up when I couldn't find it and I didn't bother to ask.

At the end I just applied touch up paint from BMWHK and it looked crap (it was for two paint chips nicely given to me by my previous neighbour). When I took my car to BMWHK for repair previously the technicians there did further touch up for me, which was even more crappy

Do let us know if you can find it in HK. I'm sure this is some goodie which everybody should keep a set at the trunk. If you're going to order from overseas I will probably join in.
