Single Turbo without an LSD?

I have a 2007 without the eLSD that I've read later cars get. I'm tired of my turbos rattling and my goal is about 500whp. Anyone with experience, how bad is a single turbo in this HP range without an LSD? The car is only a weekend car.

This winter I have enough set aside to either do:

-Single turbo without LSD or
-LSD, M3 front control arms, Dinan camber plates/remove alignment pins and solid rear subframe bushings.

If you have good tires no LSD would not be an issue.

With good tires, the 500 whp range isn't too bad without a LSD (for straight line acceleration).

Can't you update your dsc and get differential braking which is e lsd . I thought BMW started doing elsd before 07 on flagship 3 series.

Elsd is better than nothing but overall is not a substitute for a mechanical limited slip differential.

E diff is good for straight line stuff, no good for drifting.

I'd like to know more about this as well. Ie coding out the Dsc....and all the other behind the scenes that are hard coded in....to code them all out?

A proper mechanical LSD should be the first mod you do, so much more fun!
