Which exhaust should I put

I had a 2011 335i with performance exhaust which sounded amazing and recently I got a 335is which sounds good but not as great as the performance exhaust . Does anyone who has the 335is put on the performance exhaust. I couldn't find any videos with a 335is with performance exhaust. Should I just sell the performance exhaust or put it on the new car. I want the car to be a bit louder but will it be a big difference. I don't wanna put Catless down pipes so that's out of the questions.

Thanks

I thought the 335is already has the performance exhaust from factory?

No, 335is exhaust is different from PE.

I think you should swap out for the PE exhaust, I think it's a bit louder than the 335is exhaust.

335is is close to the Performance Exhaust. Close enough that I wouldn't bother making the swap. One thing to consider is that the 335is is N54-powered while your 2011 335 was N55. Those always sound a bit different even with identical exhaust setups. Not to start a flame war but I think the N55s sound a bit better all things being equal.

Interested if you're willing to sell the PE.

I have the PE on my N55 and I heard a stock 335is and they do not sound similar to me at all. But sound could be subjective to individual tastes.

Put it on ! I dont have a 335is but I did have the 'is' exhaust on my e90. Liked it a lot, but i missed the burble sound from my 135 AR-Berk set up. So, I installed the BMW PE and it is truly a much better sound. There is a bit of drone at 2500-3000 rpms on the hwy, but not a problem for me. I am completely happy and will not move towards the Dinan or Vanguard which I thought I would.

I would agree with combatninja. I had the pe exhaust on my 135 and loved it. I was thinking of putting the pe exhaust on my 335is too, but the stock one just sounds so nice (although I don't think it's quite as loud), I can't justify the expense. plus you would lose the cool double walled black tips from the IS exhaust, unless you cut them off and put them on the pe one.

The reason the n55 is louder in most cases is because the non xrdrive cars have no secondary cats.
So consider doing that to your is.

That's sort of what I'm saying. N55s like your car sound different from the 335iS even with the same exhaust. N54s and N55s just sound different. So I am trying to convey that if you have a stock 335is and rip out the stock exhaust and swap in the BMW PE, you will end up with a car that sounds 90% the same, at great expense.
