Yes, I'm well aware of what the order guide pdf says...however, we were updated today...and were told they will not be avail. to order in the US for MY08.

All previous orders in the order bank that had option code 2R4 have been deleted.

Sorry guys...

So, this ED price I'm seeing for the 2008 328i, $27,720, is the price I'm negotiating up from when I'm working with my dealer?

How much are people actually being able to negotiate based off these prices? Do you guys let them know you know the wholesale cost? Any tips on negotiation or know of any negotiation "friendly" dealerships around the Maryland area?

I used the attached PDF to calculate the invoice for the car (in lot) that I am trying to purchase and several different dealers told me that the invoice was not correct. They said that it doesn't include some items like advertising costs and maybe something else. How can I find out if the dealer is trying to charge me fees that should not apply?

Fees that SHOULD not apply? Who is determining whether they SHOULD apply or not- you or the dealer?

You are referring to MACO fees. Please use the search function.

You always negotiate up from invoice....not down from MSRP.

How do the dealers handle the invoice pricing for the options/packages. I.E. If I build a car using only the invoice pricing with cold/sport/premium and some other misc. options, should the price to shoot for be $500 over that invoice price or is it $500 over base price + X amount more for the packages+options?

You use the invoice price for the base price and the option(s) price. Then add the dealer profit. It's that simple.
