The BMW Coding Apps Collection

UPDATED WITH LATEST STANDARD TOOLS AND DATEN FILES 4/13/12 - SEE BOTTOM OF POST (as per forum user)

I've managed to get what I believe is all of the necessary software, and instructional PDF's into a RAR file (expandable by WinRAR and 7-Zip).

Extract the archive to the root of whatever drive you are working on (C:\ is recommended)

My archive contains the following files/folders:
  • NCSEXPER
  • EDIABAS
  • INPA
  • EC-Apps
  • PDF Tutorial on changing the VO
  • NCS DIY
  • BMW Coding Tutorial PDF
  • Trevendous's Halogen -> Xenon DIY Word Doc
  • Daten Files v42 already in the correct locations per daten.bat

Please NOTE: Any additional files I post on this thread are provided by users of e90post and have not been (personally) tested.

URL should remain up until I receive a cease and desist order, at which point, I'll move it again.
UPDATED - DATEN v46.1 *Lite*

BMW Progman v32
UPDATED - EDIABAS 7.2 Overwrite the contents of the EDIABAS folder with the contents of this archive (This package added by request, not tested)

Added on 4/13/12

Bmw tools its bmw standard tools 2.11 inside are newest versions of inpa, ncs, ediabas and winkfp, but i recommend only to update ncs and winkfp if you are not advanced coders since you can lost all your scripts in inpa plus inpa will be in german

Second one is inpa ea90x-200 with newest scripts and as far as i remember f-series support
BMW Standard Tools 2.11
INPA w/ Newest Scripts

Thank you to the wonderful E90 community for your collaborative efforts! If any of the experts stumble upon this and see changes that need to be made, let me know and I'll make the adjustments.

I am not a BMW tech and no one is leaking this data to me. I'm simply collecting what i've found on the internet into one centralized location. I've come accross many threads with links, but I find out that they're dead. I've got backups, and backup sites. I will try to maintain the consistentcy of these files.

Also, I looked into DATEN v45, from what I understand we really shouldn't be using anything more than 42 or 43 for coding purposes. A preliminary look only yeilded a few dead links for v45.

Let me know if you need v45. Send me a PM. I don't have enough bandwidth to host the whole thing but I can at least send you coding data.

I don't know what you mean by "we shouldn't use anything more than 42 or 43" - I've had to update to v45 to code a car that had just been to the dealership last week. You do realize it's backwards-compatible right?

Thanks so much for posting this. I downloaded the .rar file just fine. What is the torrent file for and do I need it. It is a very small file and I'm not sure how to open it. Thanks.

Download and install this application: http://www.utorrent.com/downloads/complete?os=win. It will allow you to open the torrent file from Piratebay then download BMW SSS 3.1 Progman V32.

I have successfully downloaded the BMW SSS 3.1 file. I don't know what to do with it. Is it used in conjunction with NCSEXPER, Ediabas and INPA?

hammick, have you read all of the documents in the .RAR file? You'll need to do some work yourself.

Turns out the torrent file I downloaded for BMW SSS 3.1 progman just downloaded a very small file. I'm currently downloading the full file from another location. I assume it will include instructions.

Thanks.

Updated with DATEN files from 9/29/11. I believe this is the v45. Please correct me if I'm wrong and keep your sources coming. I can set up an FTP for you guys to drop files for me to host. Message me for details or post here.

The link (and your domain's home page) seem to be down.

I'm currently downloading a Usenet copy of BMW Progman.

Kinda funny since I haven't even gotten my bimmer yet

Hey buddy, just tested... The link is good... I was uploading the new copy a few moments ago, could be why it failed. Anyways, Try again... Also, could I snag a copy of the Progman from you so I can mirror it? I won't get my usenet access back for another week or two.
