Seatbelt homie, worth it to change?

The one of the cool & unique features of our car is the seatbelt handover. My driver side never works, it just doesn't catch the seatbelt. My passenger side works 1 out of 5 times. The arm on the passenger side seems more sturdy than the drivers. My seatbelts are still in good shape.

Now i'm wondering, is it worth it to pay for the parts to get this fixed or will the same problem persist? They seem like a delicate part of the vehicle. Wish the parts were metal or something to never break like this again. Thanks for your help.
