E92 335I w/ Koni FSD Eibach Pro-Kit issues..
I recently installed the Koni FSD's with the Eibach Pro-Kit. The drop is nice and it feels good in the corners.. The major issue that I am having is going over bumps, railroad tracks, small potholes. If I am going say 30 mph and hit a bump the front right side will just bottom out really hard and I can feel it in the wheel/dash...not good. I took a turn into a driveway at like 5mph and the front right tire came up and broke my fender when the tire was turned to the right. Does anyone else have issues like this when there car is lowered, or should the shock/spring be stiff enough to prevent the tire from hitting the outside fender and breaking it? I took it to a reputable shop to have them installed, I took it back last week and had them check it for install problems and they said that everything looks ok.

From what I have read and my past experience...there HAS to be a problem with the install.... |

Agreed. Has to be an install issue on the right side of your car. Have the compression bumper checked out....and make sure the right side strut assembly is seated properly.

Installers screwed up ........ and how in the hell can that happen other than an unqualified installer????
I have the Koni FSD w/ race springs & have zero issues. The install shop needs to cover the cost of the damaged fender due to their negligence. This all said assuming a certified installer did the work & not a buddy in the driveway. |
