Yes, everyone who was delivered on this boat has to post pics of their new ride.

I am still waiting for the truck with my car to show up. A distinct disadvantage of being in the Rocky Mountains, we are not very close to any of the ports.

Cheers,

Chuck

Anyone get their car yet? I am still waiting for mine to show up at the dealer.

I have mine just waiting to get some time to take some photos after I get it washed, it's pretty dirty after the rain this weekend.

Ok, I just got a call from my dealer. My car has arrived today. We are going to do some paperwork tonight, but I will take delivery on Friday. I am getting a loaner while they prep my car. I am having them install mudflaps, so it is going to take a few days to get the car.

Cheers,

Chuck

Picked mine up on Saturday and loving it so far. Will try to post some pics (though mine is already dirty from the rain too).

If anyone is ever considering buying a car from BMW of Bakersfield, I highly recommend them, by the way. Saved me ~$3,000 over what the bay area dealers wanted to charge. I was a little worried about driving all the way down there and getting jerked around somehow, but they honored the deal I was quoted in every respect, gave me a very fair price for my trade in and were great to work with. It's too bad most car dealers I've run into don't work like this.

I signed the papers on my car last night to take advantage of the February finance rates, which were better than the rates I locked in December. I also saw my car in the lot and was able to check it out. I took a couple pictures that I will post later on. The car had not been prepped or washed, so still very dirty from the voyage to Colorado.

My dealer provided a loaner for the week, while they prep my car and install my mudflaps. I am supposed to get the car on Friday, though would love to get it sooner. I need to travel for work this week, so I won't be able to get it until later this week.

I hope to see pics of other passengers on the GL.

Cheers,

Chuck

335i pick up

Work is hectic this week so I decided not to rush and pick the car up this weekend. If you see my last post, I found a clear bra and window tint company at a good price. Just need to find a spare tire and compressor. I will post pics once I pick up. Cheers, Rich

Man, that is sweet. I am so jealous. I saw a silver 335i conv with Red Interior and I was drooling over it but it was 6k out of my budget. Have fun, sweet ride.

Thanks

Its been fun so far, i can't believe how much more exciting this has been to drive than my old 2008 335i sedan. I always had a smile on my face when I drove my old car and now my smile is just bigger.

Here is my new ride, picked her up this morning. So sweet, I cannot wait to get past the 1400 mile break-in period. I need to put my winter tires on tomorrow, the summer rubber is no good in the cold weather.

Excuse my finger in the first pic.

Cheers,

Chuck

Awesome! I got the same car (32xi as sports wagon) in blue and the M package. I'm stilling waiting for it to arrive in the San Francisco Bay Area though. It's probably still in Customs.

Run Flats

Well, it was inevitable. 700 miles into my new car and I get a screw in my tire. $453 for a replacement but thank god I purchased a tire Warranty for 5 years. Just need to get 3 more flats to break even.

Have you had any issues with your Run Flats? Just got my first flat and it would have cost me $453 but I got the tire coverage plan. Rich

I also got a flat on mine on last week. I just took it in and they repaired the flat at no charge. It was the local Discount Tire place where I take my cars. I had a nail right in the middle of the tread.

I think my car gets about the same mileage as my Explorer. I notice if I don't gun it and keep it at a steady speed on the freeway, it does ok but the moment I step on the pedal, it really sucks the gas. How about your new car? You are probably used to it having been a previous 335i owner

I don't have a highway commute and I drive 5 miles one way. I normally get around 21/22 MPG. It's all stop/start. This is about the same as my last 335i also I had an Audi A4 1.8T before that and it was around 23/24 MPG so I don't think it is too bad. You are right that if you put your foot into it does suck gas. I have a hard time trying to do that as my commute is so short and I don't have enough time to warm the car up before I get to work.

How is everyone enjoying their "new" cars? Have roughly 15k on mine now and still loving it!
