Took home my NEW 323i yesterday!
Hey everyone! I finally drove home my brand new 323i yesterday... it is Black Sapphire with Black interior, Sport Package and Premium Package.
Just wanted to let you all know that it is the greatest to drive, seems quite good on gas, and has more than adequate power. I love my BMW! I will try to post pictures soon! |

congrats, epiphone3! I really would like to see some pictures of the Can-spec'd 323, especially with the prem. + sport package. Defnitely post them to the photo sections when you get a chance.

Nice work... I plan to order a 325xi in Calgary soon! I'm still waiting a bit longer to hear what the plans are for 07 upgrades. I would love to have comfort access in a 325xi. Might be worth the wait.

Congrats!!!
I'd love to see photos ... especially of the wheels that come with the sports package as I think they are different then the base ones. How's the ride with the sports suspension?

A 323i is offered in Canada but not the US.
In Canada it's about $5000CDN less then the 325i and is a great alternative for people who want to get a 3-series but don't want to spend the $40,000CDN+ for a 325i. Almost bought one myself ... but the 323i does not have Xenon's and crazily enough that was an issue for me

Purchasing Car in Canada by US Resident It uses an example of someone in Minnisota but I'm sure things are about the same for Vancouver / Seattle.

I don't see why you would want to buy a 323i in Canada. The deal on buying BMW's a much better than in Canada. In general, the price is lower, the car is better equipped and you get more discount. Plus since the exchange rate are not very beneficial to the US right now.

Yep, its by far the best dealership in Alberta, if not in all of Western Canada. Iam from Calgary and I bought mine in Edmonton.

Everyone I have driven in my 323i has loved the looks of the car, the seats, the smooth ride quality, and the cool-sounding engine. The Sport Suspension ride quality is very good in my opinion. My father has an E46 330i Sport and I find that the ride quality in my E90 is significantly improved compared to the E46. I am very pleased with this car... BMW has been in my family since I was 3 years old and I have loved BMW since then so I had very high expectations upon taking delivery of my first one. I would say that this car has exceeded all of my expecations and even improved my view of BMW (I already thought that they are the best cars in the world prior to buying this one!). As a side note, the car has been SUPERB in winter driving condtions. We had very hazardous road conditions recently in Calgary and I had a very easy time driving my 323i. I have been using Bridgestone Blizzak tires which I am certain helps alot. Very good winter car! From the date it was produced to the date it was delivered was approximately 5 weeks. Find out your production date and judge based on that. I will try and post pictures soon... it is just tough to get good ones right now as the weather has not cooperated much... that is, it has snowed heavily and then been warm so it has been quite mucky and I want to post clean pictures. |

It really is a great value...I think people in general are scared away by the BMW brand...they think it is too pricey and they have heard that it is expensive to maintain......the 323 blows all that away, really.
Can't wait for pics!
