How to become a D3 beta tester?

There seem to be people out here who know a good deal more than I do about being a beta tester, as I have never been. I missed out on SC2 beta, but will want to become a D3 tester. Other than attending Blizzcon, is there another way to get my info (name, email, system specs, etc) to Blizzard?

They will announce when applications to join the beta are accepted. I'm sure it'll spread throughout the net pretty fast. You just sign up on their site, but the best way to make sure you get an invite is still probably Blizzcon.
