Anybody elses aftermarket dead pedal come loose?

My black carbon fiber dead pedal keeps popping up. Its drilled in with two screws at both the top and bottom. But the top two screws somehow keep coming loose.

The bottom screws hold it in solid, so it wont fall away, but the top one are always coming loose. Vibration maybe? Happen to anybody else?

Maybe the screws are somehow stripped, get some new screws.

The screws came with the black carbon fiber pedals. They sit flush in the dead pedal and are normal flat headed screws. But probably from resting my foot in the dead pedal, it has slowly wiggled and made the screw holes bigger.

I might put double sided tape underneath the pedal as well as the screws.

Tape would be good along with self tapping wood screws. I never used the tape for the ACS pedals not for the Hamann pedals nowinstalled. Nothing has come loose yet!

Perhaps you should apply some glue before screwing it down.

Ill check home depot for some better self tapping screws, and if not then use some double sided tape.

Im surprised that it hasn't happened to anybody else. But almost nobody has the black carbon fiber pedals though.
