iDrive Simple Question

If I were to buy an m3 center console is the idrive box different on the m3 then on a reg e92 or are they different and not interchangeable????

they're not interchangeable, because you have 3 buttons on the driver side of the m3 and none on the non m

Im talking just the box that the idrive is hooked up to with the knob on it.. not the three buttons unless your saying that they are connected as well

If the box is swappable, I'm sure you could change those buttons out for something useful. Like volume up/down/mute for a sub or meth/nitrous/passenger ejection seat.
